Resolutions

New Years' resolutions are a staple of starting a new year. We here in UAFYE want to help you succeed in the goals you set for 2008. Here are some helpful sites for some common first-year resolutions:

Road trip: National Underground Railroad Freedom Center

February 2, 2008
Bus departs at 10 a.m. and returns by 6:30 p.m.

Come join other students as we learn more about the history of the Underground Railroad and how many continue to fight slavery today. This trip is sponsored by FYE and University Housing and is free to students. First-year students can sign up in 120 Enarson Hall beginning January 3 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Space on the trip is first come, first serve.

MLK Day of Service: Make it a day on, not a day off!

January 21, 2008
8 a.m.
Hitchcock Hall

Join in a morning of service projects at agencies around Columbus in celebration of the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. After departing from Hitchcock, site leaders and volunteers will travel to different volunteer sites in the Columbus area. We will end our celebration at the Frank W. Hale Center for entertainment and refreshments.

CABS winter quarter update

If you find that your winter quarter schedule requires the use of the Campus Area Bus Service (CABS), you will want to check the web site for the latest updates and route maps. Using the campus bus service is a great idea during the cold winter months to help get you from one end of campus to the other.
